Eligibility Criteria of RRB Technician Recruitment
Age Limit: Category-wise age limit is as under.
- Technician Grade-I Signal: Candidates age must be between 18 to 33 years as 1st July 2025.
- Technician Grade-III: Candidates age must be between 18 to 30 years as 1st July 2025.
- Age Relaxation: The relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories are as follows:

Educational Qualification:
1.Technician Grade-I Signal:
A) Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized university or institute. Alternatively, a B.Sc. with any combination of these core subjects is also acceptable.
OR
B) A three-year diploma in engineering in any of the above-mentioned fields, or in any combination of these disciplines.
OR
C) An engineering degree in any of the listed core subjects or any combination of these streams.
2. Technician Grade III
Option A:
Matriculation or SSLC along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an institution recognized by NCVT or SCVT, as specified in the official notification.
OR
Option B:
Matriculation or SSLC plus completion of Act Apprenticeship training in the specified trades.
